Beta v1.0Plint is in public beta. Things may change while we polish it.

Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Plint collects, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for visitors from the EU and UK, the GDPR.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, a hashed password (we never see the password itself), and your name and picture if you sign in with Google.
  • What you create: your prompts, the images, stickers and GIFs generated from them, and whether each one is public or private.
  • Billing: your plan, token balance and purchase history. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by Plint.
  • Technical data: your approximate country (to show prices in your currency), your language choice, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

  • To run your account and generate what you ask for.
  • To take payments, grant tokens and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To show public creations in the Remix Feed, with your display name.
  • To send account emails such as confirmations and password resets. We don't send marketing emails unless you opt in.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your prompts or creations to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • Supabase: accounts, authentication and the database.
  • Stripe: payments and billing.
  • Modal: the GPUs that run the AI models (prompts are sent for generation and not kept after the job).
  • Cloudflare R2: storage and delivery of generated files.
  • Our hosting provider: serving the website.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies

Plint uses only the cookies it needs: your sign-in session, your language choice, and (for testing only) a currency preview. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your account and creations until you delete them or close your account. Deleted creations are removed from storage. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices and rights

  • Make any creation private, or delete it, at any time.
  • Ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account.
  • If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local data protection authority.
